This machine was built new in 1986 and has been completely rebuilt and retrofitted in 2001 with a Fanuc 16i-M 6-axis CNC control. It features an integrated 59" diameter indexing table, simultaneous continuous dress during the grinding process and AC infinitely variable feed rates. It is currently in-plant.

This machine has been used to grind the Christmas tree forms on the ends of turbine blades but is not limited to this application.
